Building Homes of Distinction since 1993

A privately owned, custom and semi-custom homebuilder, Trask Development, Inc. has developed over 175 custom and semi-custom, high-end homes in Natick, Southborough, Weston, Wellesley, Wayland, Sudbury, and Westwood  – 100% on schedule and on budget.

A graduate of Harvard University, Ben Stevens, owner and CEO, prides himself on bringing a fresh and distinctive approach to each project by matching client needs with location and price. Ben's gift is his ability to "walk" a piece of raw land, see its potential, and then customize the architecture to the environmental surrounds for a home that’s distinctive and well situated.

How we got our name

On a more personal note, people often joke about the company name since it’s the same name as the company in the 1988 movie Working Girl that stars Harrison Ford, Sigourney Weaver, and Melanie Griffith. Ben's middle name "Trask" is a family name that originated in England around 1066, the name "Trask" has been noted throughout much of our country’s history, including the Revolutionary War. Many Trasks hailed from Maine and were often carpenters – hence our name, Trask Development.
